When did he "work" at UCF? Define "work".Is he still working?

Major point. Could it just be that the talent level was just that bad? I wonder why Willie Taggert sent him packing?Kids don't unlearn how to tackle on their own.
Because results. Taggart didn't make the hire anyway. CB was pushed upon him by the previous AD who was later fired (he was going to be fired but we gave him the option to step down). Nobody knew that this was how it went down but it leaked out later that it wasn't Taggart's decision...which is awful and telling and exactly why the old AD was let go, along with some other people in the athletics department.Major point. Why would GOL have hired this guy anyway?

We should get a refund. Nobody did their job this year.Because GOL already had one foot out the door. He did not plan on coaching much this year anyway as it was the year to hand the reigns over to Key. Bresnahan was a quick fix to fill a void. Obviously nobody was paying much attention to the details this season.
Zero respectable DC candidates were probably willing to take the whole "Hopefully I get one season before GOL leaves and they bring in a new coaching staff no matter what" deal. No one is signing up for the obvious, very temporary job.Why would GOL have hired this guy anyway?

Instead...we pay them to go away!We should get a refund. Nobody did their job this year.
The only reason he was good at USF is because they had a talented defense that compensated for his predictability. So its him but also a lack of talent. I understand him initially playing a vanilla defense with a young secondary but when that young secondary with a buffer still lets receivers get behind them or get yac in front of them playing safe is futile. The few times a game we did blitz it was when the defense was getting gashed and it was obvious something positive needed to happen. But blitzes were shown too early (don't crowd the line with 20 seconds on the play clock) so qb's audibled.
I will say that the supposed strength (D-Line) was terrible. When the vanilla secondary did cover qb's had 5 seconds plus to make a sound decision (sometimes longer). Question... has Luke Adams registered a sack yet?
