Piggybacking off the season prediction thread I figured this would get some interesting responses. Feel free to add your own scenarios.
Would you rather beat USC, but they go like 2-10, and we lose 1 or 2 conference games and do not win our division to play for the conference title.
Or
We lose to a good USC team (9 or 10 wins) in a close game, but go undefeated in conference and go back to back to back?
I think I'd rather have the 2nd. We still would have good wins (cinci, Houston, etc.) and should go to a very solid bowl game.
