"I want to feel like I am at home as much as I possibly can," he said when asked what he will be looking for when visits other schools. "I want to have the same relationship I have with the coaches at Central Florida, and maybe even a better one. I just want to feel as comfortable as possible when I am there."
This past fall the athletic receiver had a very good year for a Sandalwood team that finished the 2014 season with a .500 record.
"As a team we went 5-5," he said about his junior year. "Individually I finished the season with 59 catches for 1,061 yards and 11 touchdowns. I ended up leading North Florida in receiving and I set a school record. So I felt like I had a pretty good season. I thought the biggest areas I improved on were getting off the ball and getting in and out of my cuts."
Besides the offer from Central Florida the Sandalwood H.S. standout also has offers from Indiana, Wake Forest, South Florida, Temple, Troy, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern and Alabama State. He said his plan is to have a top five list by the end of the summer.
"It all depends on how this summer plays out," he said when asked about his timetable for making his final decision. "I would like to have it narrowed down to at least five schools by the start of my senior season. That way I can take my official visits and just focus on those schools. But right now I really don't have a timetable for making a decision."
