Ill start off that even with young guys we should have beat Furman. But this is an incredibly young and inexperienced team, more than we've ever seen. Recruiting limitations catching up, key guys leaving early, dismissals and injuries have ravaged this team. To heights we didnt predict. By my count we are starting about 9/22 offense and defensive starters? That is unheard of.
Positives i have seen is that we are showing week to week improvements. Bo looks better, has an arm, just has to work on decision making and how to move around in the pocket. WR has taken a few hits and there is absolutley no one with experince back there. I dont know the status of Jordan but to think him Smith and Payton will only be sophmores next year is very encouraging. I think they will better than our last group of studs.
There is a lot of talent on this team it just needs time to develope. I think all of our expectations were shot after FIU. The future does hold possibilities. You can say what you want about Key, but half your offense being freshman I am reserving some judgement.
