If FSU and Clemson would leave they would probably be replaced with Washington State and Oregon State.
The ACC then would have a western quad like the B1G.
B1G: UCLA, USC, Washington, Oregon.
ACC: Stanford, Cal, Washington State, Oregon State.
Don't care if they leave early but would want them to leave by giving money (GOR settlement) to the ACC.
If either or both schools bolt to the B1G they would have to contend with playing Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, USC, UCLA, Washington etc. Lets see how many opportunities they will have playing for National Championships in the future.
The ACC is not going away because they are too big and concentrated in large population states with their own network ACCN. Back filling would occur.
