How many people on this board can even name the run plays we use? “Running up the middle” isn’t always the same play.
We primarily run:
Inside zone
Trap
Counter
Power
Influence
Do you know what those do for our offense?
They provide misdirection, and gaps for our fast running backs to hit hard and get vertical. They force defensive lineman to watch for guys coming across the formation which also helps on the pass rush.
I don’t understand how people can be critical of play calling without having any clue of what’s going on.
