Like most was wondering why Sheduer isn't drafted yet.

This is my latest thought History does repeat itself. Every level that Deons sons have played football he has become HC. He is a very charismatic legend in football with History. The HC and coaching staffs don't want to lose their jobs if Sheduer underproduces and Deon talks the owner into letting him become their new HC promising them he will take them to the super bowl. I'm not even sure that Sheduer sees this as the problem.

People want to win. If they think the guy will help them win, they are going to pick him. They obviously don't think he can help them win.

Personally, I don't get it. I think he is an above average drop back quarterback. Perhaps, they think he topped out in college with an offense that was built around him. He never won anything. It still doesn't make sense, though.

I would not be surprised that he told everybody don’t draft him and it becomes a free agent to pick his spot by himself

Yes it's about risk and reward. When Deon went to Colorado it became a circus. This is the added risk. I don't like what's happening because I believe Sheduer is worth the risk but I not blind to the circus show and added pressure.

We see another example of this playing out with Aaron Roger's. He's a pain in the ass to have in your locker room.

The guy seems like a real punk but I think teams are making a mistake by not drafting him this late. A player of his pedigree and bravado shouldn't be taken lightly.

The Cleveland Browns depth chart now includes Deshaun Watson, Dillion Gabriel, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Shedeur Sanders.

Gus went to the wrong program as offensive coordinator!

Interesting take.

He is not a viable candidate as a backup QB because he is more popular than the starter.
I think this is the biggest issue. There were only a handful of teams needing a starting qb, but if none of those teams saw him as a starter I'd imagine most other teams weren't interested in him being a back up.

Browns fans are already saying DG was a horrible mistake to draft. Should have taken a WR in that slot. Do the Browns just sit with Watson on roster and cut a draftee or Flacco?

Less to do with Gabriel being drafted and more to the fact they took two QBs in the draft while having the albatross that is Watson, they traded picks for Pickett in the offseason, and signed Flacco.

I know. 5 QBs. Most teams carry 3. Who is getting cut? Flacco, Watson , DG? At least 1. Possibly 2.

They can say he is done, but they still owe him $92 million over the next two seasons.
He will be on IR this entire season so insurance is paying his salary.....there is some suspicion that this is merely insurance fraud, but so far that is the situation.

So they will have 4 QBs.....if anyone gets cut I imagine it is Mr Socko.

Nope, I read insurance will cover almost the whole salary

"and they will see almost his entire salary covered by insurance if Watson cannot take the field at all in 2025.

The Browns have $44.3 million of Watson's $46 million base salary covered by insurance."

And there is already a move to ensure Jeff Galooly has an air-tight alibi

Are you purposely spelling every name wrong?
