This country is going to have to stop blaming muslims and guns and start treating the real issue .... mental health.
I'm sick and tired of mental health care getting cut every time the states and the feds start cutting the budgets. As a conservative, I'm all for lower taxes and less government, but the citizens in this country with mental health issues NEED HELP and they aren't in any condition to provide it to themselves.

wow, just woke up to read about this terrible news this morning. glad someone there had their rifle with them and was able to help stop the massacre.
I realize you are kidding since you are actually the socialist .... but I am all for government and taxes that are responsible. Common defense, interstate highways and transportation, etc. etc. Mental health is important for many reasons .... 2 of them are the fact that people with mental health issues cannot help themselves (or maintain jobs to pay for health care) and they are a threat to society at certain levels of the illness.
He was denied a concealed carry license. I'm honestly surprised no one in the church was carrying.

I conceal carry in church but I sit in the back row...I will be moving up a few pews I think.

why not say stopped? the guy just shot up a church and had a running truck out side. He had plenty of ammo and body armor. I think its safe to say, he was going to continue this attack at another location.

I am sure there are scientists who would love to study the brain of a cretin who knows someone can’t see what they’re saying, yet chooses to hurl insults anyways. I will answer your troll question. Neither is incorrect. Obviously, people would love to intervene and help someone harboring such hatred or with a mental illness prior to them committing such an evil, heinous act. However, if the first option of helping an individual such as this is not available, the second option of putting them into the ground with 200 bullets into them is fine also. Both options are much better than the loss of innocent lives be it by motor vehicle, gun, knife, vacuum cleaner, syringe or whatever.
