My neighborhood has a non-denom church that I actually don't attend (I go to the local Catholic church) but they are absolutely fantastic, amazing human beings. The pastor and his family walk the neighborhood every single week asking neighbors if there's anything they need help with. Parish members volunteer to clean elderly people's homes.
After Irma they organized a massive neighborhood cleanup and got through 10 streets.
They're so great that I've started attending a service once a month just to talk to everyone. My own church does these things too but this church is literally in Feathersound.
That said, they're all terrible people. They believe in God and therefore should be mocked and insulted to no end.

i went to church growing up but eventually stopped believing. im agnostic now. unfortunately i find a lot of church goers can be hypocrites, but the majority are good people. i dont have a problem with religion as long as the members try to stick to the doctrines that they say they do.

No, it validated my concerns. Christians are the ones who are big on judging and bashing. All I stated is many of them don't practice what they preach, which most people know to be true.
You are correct that many don't practice what they preach but I think many honestly try. The good news is that atheists like you don't have a measuring stick for which others can bash you for not practicing what you preach. Christians are easy targets.

There might be many that don’t follow . But more do than don’t . And faith based organizations feed , clothe , house and help a lot more people than most that choose to bash them .
