Gabe Davis is absolutely going to be the star of the offense this year. I could only catch the first half, because I was working concessions the second, but in the first two quarters he caught 3 of the 4 touchdowns. He almost had a fourth, but caught the ball out of bounds. He was powerful in the jump and fight for the ball and seems to have some solid hands.
On a side note, the QB throwing him the ball is Kaylan Wiggins, a Dual-Threat Tulane commit.
DeMarco Artis, former UCF and now FSU commit, was dominant as always tonight. The O-line didn't know how to handle him. He did get knocked pretty hard by his own teammate after the QB shook him, which put him on the ground and out of the game for a few minutes, but I don't think it was serious since he went back in.
Finally, caught up with Freshman DB, Brandon Moore. He was sporting his UCF gear. I asked him how camp was going and he mentioned that it was going really well, which I understand is vague, but I didn't want to pry for details since he was catching up with friends. He seemed genuinely happy with UCF and he told me he decided to redshirt, which I don't think is going to come as a surprise to anyone.
TL;DR version: Gabe Davis looks dominant (and big), DeMarco Artis remains dominant, and Brandon Moore is happy at camp, but is unsurprisingly red shirting
