honestly i'm not impressed by that list. kitler was alright and chasen had some potential even though he can't locate a football. but the rest? just freeing up some scholarships for potentially useful players.

Well we only won 4 games with those guys and next year projected to be even worse with those guys so good luck to those guys. In college football today you probably lose 20+ players to the portal even when things are going well, so with a coaching change we're looking at massive turnover. Good. This program was bottoming out and Gus knew it. On the Bridge this morning Marc Daniels said Gus didn't think he could fix it -- that's how bad it was. So flush the whole roster and start over.

Daniels is so full of it. Gus left because his seat was inferno hot. He found an off ramp with Norvell. How much buyout money can you secure from all your failed positions?

Best player we’ve lost so far. Agree with a lot of you that we wont miss the majority of these guys, but Marshall can play. Two-year starter at UCF, all-conference in the MAC in ‘22. Hard to replace someone with that much experience and versatility (started games at RT and RG during his time at UCF, can play inside or out). Kind of guy you want around with a new staff (and breaking in an all new offense).

Probably won’t find someone in the portal better to replace him. Oh well, such is life in the CFB era.
