2024 Election Thread

After Donald Trump’s victory on Tuesday, longtime vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is poised to have tremendous influence over the way the United States regulates and distributes its vaccines.

Kennedy has pushed the disproven idea that vaccines cause autism for decades, and founded the nonprofit Children’s Health Defense to promote theories linking vaccines to other conditions. Other leaders of the Trump-aligned Make America Healthy Again movement also have a history of anti-vaccine advocacy. Kennedy has backed off more inflammatory anti-vaccine rhetoric recently, instead emphasizing his desire for more transparency and data around the products. It’s unclear exactly what data he is seeking.

“If vaccines are working for somebody, I’m not going to take them away,” he told MSBNC on Wednesday. “People ought to have a choice and that choice ought to be informed by the best information.”

You were correct but it wasn’t bc vaccines. Mike was spot on it being mainly bc of Inflation not dropping quick enough and the Border/Immigration. I misread the Electorate on Immigration but I did have Trump winning Nevada and Arizona with that in mind.

You get your news from CNN and MSNBC. I get mine right from the horses mouth on Twitter. There were thousands of women terrified on Twitter. The more vocal ones were pissed off in public about it

Dr. Jen lost a couple hundred thousand followers because she pedaled deep state propaganda instead of being honest with them

One of the many coverups of the horrible mRNA. Look at the thousands of pissed off women terrified of Kamala's mandates

There were a lot of reasons and it’s complicated. Vaccines are never even mentioned by any reputable news source or in ANY poll.

I don’t know of a single person that voted based on anything vaccine related. Do you?

Things like not having enough time to prepare, not having clear cut strategies on policies, Trump bashing, a poor choice for VP, and not resonating with the average American all played a significant part

She had a lot going for her (abortion, female, minority, not Trump), but that could not be counteracted in the end. Democrats are now second guessing her as their choice.

Remember this deep state, left propaganda once the country gets to know Bobby Kennedy better. He's a heck of a nice guy and true patriot that's genuinely concerned for public health and safety

This Colbert schtick brought to you by Pfizer. Doesn't this stuff get old yet for the Libs? 95% of them never actually heard a long format interview with the guy🤦‍♀️💰🚮

A heck of a nice guy based on what? When asked about being accused of sexual assault his response was " I'm not a church boy" and "if all the skeletons in my closet could vote, I could be king of the the world". He doesn't even pretend he's a heck of a nice guy.

Some of his views in health are good, with regards to how many chemicals are in our food and that sort of thing. His anti vaccine stuff, especially with regards to all vaccines is nutty as can be. He convinced Samoan people to stop taking vaccines and the following year 70 people died of measles.
