The 1,300 children die claim is higher than the total accidental death rate for firearms. It's also around the total for all, non-organized crime homicide rate. So what they are doing is including organized crime, including young gang members, in their 'children' claim.
I cannot stand this level sensationalizing in statistics.

how that woman thought it was a good idea to not have that weapon secured when her home functioned as a daycare is beyond stupid. she is lucky none of the kids died. completely insane.
