I stayed off for a couple of days so this may have been discussed.

I don’t know if these plays had other options and Brown just made bad choices or if they were just bad play calls. But the longer the pass, the lower the completion percentage is going to be, no matter who the QB is, throw a green QB with very few starts in the mix and that goes down even further.

Taking a shot on first or second down great no problem. Taking a shot on third and short if you are planning on going on forth OK. At least 3 times we took shots on third and 4-5 and ended a drive. Why? Get them damn 4 yards, then take a shot. Also on the final drive we do exactly the opposite. We have 3rd and 9 and throw 2 and expect our receiver to make the rest with his legs.

Like I said I know most plays have multiple receivers and maybe Brown just chose wrong but man I had to wonder. Also if he was even a little more accurate a couple of those long passes were open, he just missed them.

On a bright note, defense actually seems to be getting better every game,
