Back in the day, everyone helped out that farm not just 16+ year olds. So add back in all those kids 15 and below not helping on the farm.

62% - 15% = 48%

Then women never really worked until half of the men stopped taking care of their kids. So women working shouldn't even be counted. Substract the working women out

48% + 25% = 73%

Then America is so rich that you don't have to work until you die. That lasts for about 10 years while you wonder around your apartment looking for what you forgot or are hooked up to machines to keep your organs minus the brain working. Subtract them people out.

73% + 10% = 83%

83% is the Real Labor Force Participation Rate. (For you math guys out there, the 62% LFPR is really a nominal rate or what Republicans call Fake News)
