7,000 Views for #7 RJ Harvey to Win Heisman

Tied for 2nd in the Country in rush yards. And doing it a Power 4 conference. It would be interesting to compare the defenses faced by Jeanty of Boise State who leads the nation in rushing, and Kaleb Johnson of Iowa who Harvey is tied with. I'm also curious to compare the QB stats of Boise, Iowa, and UCF.

Yea unfortunately the Heisman trophy will not go to a player on a losing team. Really appreciate what RJ has done and he will be a candidate for the UCF hall of fame in a few years.

QB Play:
UCF: 150/249, 60.2%, 2018 yds, 12 TD, 9 INT, 137 Rtng
Boise: 167/264, 63.3%, 2049 yds, 18 TD, 4 INT, 147.9 Rtng
Iowa: 131/213, 61.5%, 1388 yds, 8 TD, 7 INT, 122.1 Rtng

Defenses Faced:
UCF: 164 rushing yds/game average allowed
Boise: 175 rushing yds/game avg allowed
Iowa: 149 rushing yds/game avg allowed

From this, the Iowa running back has the worst QB play and they have faced the best rushing defenses on average this year. All the guys are stud RBs, so it'll be interesting to see how the last few games play out.

RJ is 2nd only to Kevin Smith in UCF history for career rushing yards 4679 to 3543 (905 attempts vs 543 attempts for Harvey) and rushing TDs 45 to 40. RJ has 3 receiving TDs to only 1 for Smith. What a career!
