The sad irony of your ignorance is that energy companies in the western hemisphere are making green investments. For Europe, they are in serious trouble. For North America (Canada-US), we know our shale deposits won't last forever.
The reason Europe will be 30% green, and North America will be 20% green, by 2040, is 100% market-driven, 0% government.
China, on the other hand, continues to go hydroelectric (damn the impact) and cozy up to Darfur and other, 'questionable' types of 'partners.'

More seriously now, we get all these meta-discussions about people and things, instead of the actual discussions. I have no problem with people who want to talk all they want, as one must actually come here to see it.
