UCONN lost to Nebraska to open up. Short stop made a nice play in foul territory on a diving play by 3rd base.

UCONN up 9-2. ECU down 3-2 in 3rd. Cincy is in winners bracket and host Oregon St eliminated.

UConn leading Ol Weepy U 4-1 in the 5th, ECU rolling over NC St 8-1 late.

ECU wins 9-2, UConn up 5-1 bottom 7th vs. Cornholes.
UCONN won. Cincy bounced. UCONN plays Okkahoma St at 6 to keep going. FAU lost I think and maybe UF? UM still alive.

Lost 12-0 in second game. AAC is not good. Which means we are further from being even decent. Our players were drafted late in this past draft. If recruiting doesn’t pick up we aren’t going to a Super Regional, let alone winning one, for a while.

AAC baseball is fine. ECU had 7 draft picks and reached the super regionals. UCF is the only team in this league completely underachieving.
Only 1 team made it to SR and they got swept by more than 10 runs in both games. AAC baseball is not good. Cincy couldn’t win a Regional that the host lost in.

ECU got smoked in game 1. 14-1. Not looking good.

The AAC had 3 teams in the Tournament and 2 more in the first 5 out. The 3rd best AAC team knocked off the defending National Champ and Regional host before eventually being eliminated. ECU beat a ton of top teams OOC during the regular season then hosted and won their Regional. They had one of the best offenses in the country per most national college baseball writers. I suppose the ACC sucks too because Duke just got no-hit by Vandy? I am really disappointed (again) in how Lovelady's team underachieved, but the rest of the AAC is doing just fine.

You should write for Bleacher Report with these super awesome* hot takes.

ACC has 5 teams in Super Regionals. More than we had in a regular regional. So get your hot takes out of here. The great offense you speak of barely scored in 2 games.

AAC is a good baseball conference. About the 5th best of all conferences. ECU got blown out. Cool. It’s baseball. So did Vanderbilt.

If Tulane could get back to their pre-katrina level of play the AAC is more than a solid conference. Probably wont ever measure up to the ACC, the SEC, or the PAC on a regular basis but definitely can hold their own against the Big12 and should always be better than the Big10.

B1G and Big 12 both have teams in World Series this year.

Man, the Big10 sucks in baseball. They will never be more than a one-off conference that might luck into have a CWS contender but thats it. The Big12 may as well be ladies choice on dance night at the bar. It may be Texas, it may be Okie St, it may be TCU but its only a notch above the Big10 in any given year. The AAC isnt great, but when I look at teams like what Tulane was in the early 2000s or what Houston could be, there's no reason to think that this conference cant be an equal at the very least.

Anything can happen if you get hot at the right time. Look at FSU (a last four in team) sweeping LSU right out of the tournament. If you look at the course of the full season, the AAC is better than the B10.

Just like the AACs overall football bowl record many years, AAC baseball teams need to do better once they make the post season.

A lot of our OOC games are weekday and or a 1 off game. We aren’t getting their ace or 2 a lot of times. When we(AAC) do we tend to lose. Since AAC started how many CWS representatives have we had? Compared to other conferences.

The AAC is the fifth best conference. But there are only teams from 4 conferences in the CWS. The Big 10 has only put teams in the CWS twice now. The other time was Indiana a decade ago.
