Sentinel:
UCF saw its annual payout from the American Athletic Conference nearly double, in part, because of the program’s appearance in the Peach Bowl two seasons ago.
The conference reported $77.79 million in total revenue for the 2017-18 fiscal year, according to the most recent tax documents available and obtained by the Orlando Sentinel. The Knights were clearly the big winner, seeing a nearly 45% increase in annual revenue payout, going from $4.042 million in 2016-17 to $7.429 million in 2017-18.
