Spring goes over schemes n personnel. U don’t really know much until Game 3-4. Unless, of course, they roll out a 300 pound quarterback who can’t throw and is so out of shape if he does that, then we all should make arrangements to go to the nuthouse early

Yeah basically there are a few things to look for in the spring game that actually matter. Some that come to mind are the accuracy of the QBs, the 1-on-1 matchups, and the overall “functionality” of the offensive and defensive systems (meaning, looking for penalties and confusion that may be occurring).

Under Lynn this season, the Trojans saw marked improvement on defense. The unit gave up 34.4 points per game during the 2023 season, a number that was lowered to 24.1 in 2024.

USC also gave up 377 yards per game this past season after giving up 432.8 (119th in FBS) in 2023.

I am for Frost hiring who he wants with the $$ he has to work with today. I wasn't big on bringing him back but am behind him now that he is our coach.
We still have one more year before we get full payout for B12. To be honest I wasn't impressed with coaches available this year, and even at that we were going to be outbid for most of them. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Scott be very good as a head coach here in the B12, it fits better than B10. I also won't be surprised if he crashes and burns. If that happens (give him 3 seasons) move on.

Yes. The moderator is dropping hints that Alex Grinch sucks at coordinating defenses. I do not necessarily disagree, but I still like the Grinch hire because UCF needs in influx of defensive talent in its front seven and Grinch is a quality recruiter, who lure high high ceiling recruits.
