Having been the victim of sexual assult when I was 9, and questioning my sexuality through at least age 12-13, especially not having 'much luck' with young ladies until 14 ... if some unlicensed 3rd party who told me to lie to my parents for years, and had me 'tuck' and literally cause me 'physical issues' as an eventually, sexually active male teenager (let alone later in life) ...
I might have eventually 'gone postal' on them too. I'm sure some will now say some sh-- about that. But seriously ... that's what we're talking about here. But we want to make jokes, and act like this is all 'simple.'
Just ask any parent ... nothing is 'simple.' But apparently 3rd parties know better than parents, even parents who are mental health specialists with extensive transgender experience.

Last night, I watched a show about gun violence that plotted out on a graph all the mass shootings before and after Congress failed to renew their assault weapon ban. The growth in gun violence in this country since then has been staggering. We don't have to wonder whether an assault rifle ban would be effective or not.
Our country's Right Wing politicians like to shout "Second Amendment Rights! Second Amendment Rights!" while smiling for the cameras with their wife and kids....all of 'em holding up AR-15s. It's beyond absurd.
