In addition to Blocker, we have another QB option already committed for 2016.
It's always good to have some competition at every position.

When GOL was here every ATH automatically became a defensive back. Shouldn't assume that any more.

It looks like he was used as a change of pace (ie WildKnight) QB. It said right at the beginning of the clip he threw 2 TDs and 3 INTs. The one throw I saw, was not an FBS level pass.
Say what you want about GOL, but watching those clips, it was his plays on defense that stood out. Kid has good vision on defense and takes great angles.

We'll have to wait and see what kind of passing game this new offense offers. Next season will definitely be a hybrid for Frost because all the pieces wont be in place. I wont be surprised if the QB position becomes a revolving door next season with multiple starters.
