Here are some of the rumored points of the order. Of course, these aren't finalized yet and who knows, may not even happen. (Who am I kidding, I'm sure something like this will happen).

– Letting organizations use federal dollars to discriminate in the provision of social services;

– Letting federally-funded adoption agencies discrimination against LGBT people; and

– Permit federal employees to discriminate against LGBT people based on their opposition to marriage quality and gender identity.

So much for being the "most Pro-Gay" President in history.

I am one to believe that private businesses can do what they want, however, if you're federally funded...this is ridiculous.

There isn't a federal law that protects LGBT people, just an EO obama signed.

Certain states and counties have them though.

While I disagree with the loophole on allowing discrimination based on 'serious religious beliefs' , I think the LGBT (and the libs) brought on this backlash with the firestorm over HB2 in North Carolina. This "in your face" mentality of the LGBT and liberals turns off a lot of people.

If you got a pecker, you use the mens bathroom. If you got a cooch, you use the womens bathroom. Why fight that battle so hard and risk reversing years of progress? It's a big turn off and is causing an over-reaction.

Let's hope it's just bluster, but more than a few congressmen have been quoted as wanting to reintroduce it. It fell in 2015 because Obama wasn't going to sign it. Trump is on the record as supporting it.

A bathroom with a gentleman sign and urinal is not a constitutionally protected right. And that's not even a problem. People aren't standing at the entrance of bathrooms checking birth certificates. No one knows who's using what bathroom, I don't even talk with other guys in the bathroom let alone worry about what's in their pants. The problem is pervs taking advantage of being able to identify as a female one day and creep on girls in a bathroom. That happening once is too many times. Go to whatever bathroom you feel you should, just don't cause a scene and no one will ever know the difference.

I struggle with why a federal employee should have to perform a service if it's against their individual religious beliefs, as long as the service can be provided by someone else (a different individual) in the same government office at the same time with no inconvenience to the person seeking services.

Religious groups need the same protection under the law afforded to other interest groups.
