Anybody else watch the Hawkeye series?

Such a weird season finale. It almost felt like Disney execs watched Batman and Robin and wanted to do that, but 400 times worse. They did the same thing with Falcon and The Winter Soldier but nowhere near this level of bad.

I enjoyed it. This is a comic book series so it’s expected to get some of the tropes even though the Avengers have been more, realistic, I guess. I wish the guides on these things told you what movies to watch first because there were a lot of crossovers to other series in this one and I’m not a big enough fan to have watched them all. Apparently Kingpin was built up in the Daredevil show and so he wasn’t totally out of left field. And I didn’t watch Black Widow first, which would’ve helped as well.

One thing that stood out is how much better these are all shot than Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime.

I was really disappointed in Vincent Donofrio's performance as the Kingpin. The script wasn't great, but his delivery seemed like he just phoned it in.

I think one's reaction depends on what you think of Hailee Steinfeld. I thought she was cute and her performance good so I liked the series.

I can agree with this. He’s a much better actor than that performance. I’m just now starting Daredevil so we’ll see how that goes.
