Several people are claiming they’ve heard from some who are close to our program DG wants to transfer. Supposedly, there’s bad blood between him and Gus over Louisville and his injury or something along those lines? Has anyone heard these rumors? Really hoping they’re bs. if they’re true, we’re in a ton of trouble.

matt corral is listed at 6'2" and probably a bit over 6' going on 6'1". DG is listed at 6' and is probably about 5'10" to 11".

DG is a special talent. If he wasn’t looking at what the best program is for him to make a career in football, I’d be surprised. Hopefully he chooses to finish it out as a Knight.

I wrote this in the other DG thread before these rumors, but we need to take off the black and gold glasses and not be surprised if he were to transfer. The injury was unfortunately a perfect opportunity for him to look at things from a big picture perspective. He’s trying to build his “brand” like KZ. He knows he’s built a reputation the last 2 years with his numbers and passing ability, and that there are plenty of big schools who would jump at the opportunity to snatch him with 2 years of eligibility remaining. If he doesn’t think that he can continue to build his brand and reputation under Gus, then he’s as good as gone. That’s the culture in college football nowadays. Obviously, I hope I’m dead wrong because him leaving sets us back big time.

Honestly it would be a bad move he has 1 more year left before he's NFL bound. But in todays game we have legit free agency especially with NIL stuff too.

This was true in the NFL...10 years ago....Russel Wilson, Kyler Murray, Drew Brees, heck even Rodgers is 6'2 disagree.

I believe that's a good estimate. I watched the Tulane game on TV, and there were a couple of times that the cameraman panned over to DG speaking to Shaquem. Shaq appeared to be a couple inches taller, and I think he is listed at 6', too. Whatever the case, that hasn't been much of an issue for Dillon.

Man B12 undefeated championship isn't an autobid to the CFP, but does make it a lot more likely than before!
