the new CA Governor just pulled the plug on their own HSR, for CA only, since the cost was so out of control that not even a Woke Far Leftie like him could continue to justify funding it. It was on pace to surpass $100B after being promised for $20B.

The bluest state in the country can't make HSR financially feasible yet somehow we're going to afford running HSR from every corner of this country to the other. Cuz you know - muh Green Dealz!!

Vermont can't fund single payer health care, California can't afford HSR. But don't worry folks, ALL of this will be totally affordable once we make it Federal law!

we have a couple people in here that cant even admit that warren lied about being an indian to advance her career even though she has come out and admitted so as well as dna evidence and her tx bar card.

It's a fine starting point it. I see nothing from the GOP. If you have kids you should want to provide a stabilized climate for the next hundred years. With no plan from the GOP and no interest in working toward improvement it's pretty clear that they don't give a damn about the climate more than 30 years from now. One last selfish act from the scumbag boomers.

so please tell me what your plan is to get basically every other nation besides us and the european union on board? i think the us is responsible for 14% of global emissions. 10 rivers in asia and africa account for 95% of the plastic waste in the oceans.

we can certainly do better, but lets be real, we are already doing our part. what is your plan to get the others involved? dont say the paris climate agreement because india and china agreed to do nothing until 2030.

so please, lets hear your plan for that.

you do realize that a lot of the countries basically signed the agreement but actucally agreed to do nothing about the climate at all right? notably india and china said they wouldnt do a damn thing until 2030.

Piss off Uncle Wayne. It's a fine starting point vs the GOP plan to sit on their hands while the climate gets so extreme that places like Florida are getting hit with 5 -6 hurricanes per year.

Can we accomplish it by ourselves? No. But will the world unite on common sense standards if the United States is setting an example and leading the way? Very possible.

We need to start leading the way.

This is about American Exceptionalism. This is about Ronald Reagan saying the United States of America is "the shining city on the hill" If we aren't leading the free world, then who?

What leader worth his or her salt surveys the team and says "Gee, not everybody seems fully committed so screw this"? We need to lead the way.

AOC's glee over the Amazon pull-out in NY is dumb and the kind of thing that gives our idiot President a shot at getting reelected. You don't celebrate the loss of 25 million jobs and still act like you're for 'the people.'

Too many politicians have no clue how tax incentives work.

If the end of the world is only 12 years away then we should be looking at much more extreme measures. Maybe drop some nukes and create nuclear winter or see if we can make some volcanoes erupt. Limiting the ability of people to travel effectively doesnt seem like it would be enough.

Also, if we really do want to demolish and rebuild every building in america, where will we put all of the rubbish?

Is there any evidence that supports your theory? Plants and animals thrive in warm weather. While the climate extremists would have you believe that the oceans will die off, there is no historical evidence to prove that any sort of mass extinction has ever occured in the oceans because of melting ice.
