Couple of comments.

No. 1, UCF's pass defense was the problem last season, not the run defense.

No. 2, the biggest loss, so far, of the latest Scott Frost error was not including Gus's media faceoff in the 40, high jump, and shuttle run during the spring. Would have been an instant classic!
