Join Eric Lopez and Trace Trylko as they debate some of the current topics surrounding UCF Sports.

In this episode, Daunte Culpepper says that Scott Frost has an innovative offense, but CBS Sports disagrees - who is correct?

Plus: how much do we believe in the UCF Football brotherhood.

Also: Belichick drama, NFL schedule, will the CFB expand, and who is your dream UCF golf foursome

Thanks for watching here.

This season really hinges on the QB position. From articles written it really appears that the Florida players really like the way that Frost coaches. We know and Frost knows now that he made a big mistake leaving UCF but he had family issues that drew him there.

Anyway back on point we have 3 good candidates at the QB position vying for the starting position. Competition is good unlike past season. We have Forst and Milton coaching up the position and if one of these 3 takes a big step in earning the position it could be a fun season to watch. Another 6-6 start or better is a good low bar for the season.

No, what we have are 3 inexperienced guys (OK, Fancher has experience but has never been a even decent QB) who were cobbled together off the street.....hoping one of them can play this position at least OK. I suspect it won't be fun at all, just painful. In CBS Sports last week we were rated 7th worst QB room in all of the P4.....yikes

Let's look at most successful QBs. Daunte was a gift from sky for us. Nobody on roster was close to him. QB room lacking.

Bortles was a TE who wanted to play QB who beat out running QB Godfrey. Neither was highly rated. Bortles made plays.

Milton was a risk who grew in the position after he got here. He was small to begin with. Sock boy was short and even higher rated than Milton but came in season after Milton was injured. It was a fluke that we beat Memphis after Milton went down after injury with backup QB.

Forget Gus QB rooms talent seen on the field was looked at from Gus' view of having High School offense skills that mostly ran ball.

This season we have transfer with PRO size and limited starts but success when started. Transfer that is 6'2" who has many starts and moves well behind the line making plays and runs well. Then we have kid from Miami who was 3 star, very athletic with a strong arm and again good size for QB. He needs to develop accuracy though to be a starter. Are any of them polished? No but neither was Milton his first season but we went 6-6 and he learned how to play the position well under Frost.

Some are dreaming that our QB depth is going to be like Ohio State or other perennial winners at this point. Last season all we had was tubby and a bunch of unexperienced QBs with no starts under a horrible HS offensive system that opposing defenses smothered.

Online is a big part of the success this year 🙏. Dline too

Everyone smile. I'm just glad Gus gracefully left us. Very good man but from my view not an offensive wizard except for a few trick plays. Let's get the passing game going again.

Going .500 this year is improvement. Anything over is icing on the cake :)
That’s very unlikely to happen. There’s literally no offense…thanks to Mohajir. The beat the usual UCF silver tongues can say is “UCF has Florida speed”. Lol. TF they mean by that?

I addition, the overall talent level of the defense is mediocre to poor.

I am not a fan of the Frost hire but in no way the upcoming results will be his fault. The man has not been given the necessary resources to win. P E R I O D.

Broken Record HoboLame. Give it a rest. We get it. We really do know our team we pull for. We know it's going to be a down year, we know we don't have as much money as other schools, we know we know we know... You are just a broken record....

A question was asked and I answered. I know more about big time college football than your entire fan base.

Oh yeah…forgot that UCF has “Florida speed”. You are a guy that fine with Mohajir spending millions on a lazy river.

*YAWN* broken record…lazy river…go start your own college football forum then. Your trolling here is very boring here, repetitive, old and tired. We don’t care about your opinion.

We knew what you meant, but it was funny. :)

The Oline's recent history has been spotty. I hope you're right but the offense will be replacing four of five OL starters from last year. That's tough to do.
My grade on the previous Oline coach was spotty. I guess he was good at finding new spicy wings though.
