Knights head coach settling in back at home, again

A timeout at the 7:59 mark in the first half of a college basketball typically goes by without much fanfare, save for your occasional baby race or find the hidden ball game on the jumbotron. But for the UCF Knights, that very moment at the most recent basketball game against Houston signaled something more important than an update on the 50/50 raffle.

Sorry…strongly disagree - this is a weak attempt at manipulating sentiments. It’s distorted optics. After five losing seasons in a row, he needs to show TANGIBLE results.

There was a lot of negatives said about the UCF football program as Gus was leaving. However, I believe that some of those changes Nebraska needed to make have occurred with current support team outside of coaches. Also, he shouldn't have pull of family needs and old friends here. This should allow Frost to coach with his coaching style that can be very successful in Big 12 (better than 6-6 and 4-8 teams).

Second to none

Easy question (for Adam)…do you believe Scott Frost means more now to UCF and its fans than he did to Nebraska and those fans when he was hired there?

Also…he can wear his hat any kind of way he wants…literally and figuratively carries zero weight. Also, he’s 50 years old.

Scott Frost will either sink or float depending on the results of what happens on the grass…the entire “reinventing” himself is a lot of nonsense…typical for UCF (sorry to say).

If he wins…then great, if he starts losing games and has a losing season, support will dry up very fast and the example set at Nebraska will be forefront in everyone’s mind.

Staging him with the fans at a basketball game (same as Malzone with his wife and Mohajir), the scruffy beard and the hat pulled low is a classic move by Mohajir…an AD that’s good at creating hype and generating donations (very important) that he is at hiring people that actually win something.

Mohajir & Co. turning up the hype meter…dude had Gus Malzone wearing an astronaut character costume for photo ops with recruits “To the moon”.

If they REALLY want to help Frost then Mohajir NEEDS to get him a WR in the Spring portal. The QB room is made up of unproven guys that will be playing behind an OL where none of the players have played a snap with another…at least give the QB a guy to throw the ball to.
