Asante Samuels Jr.

UCF went 0-12 last year, he can probably play anywhere he wants, UCF really isn't a sexy name to sophomores in high school and I don't know that UCF has offered anyway.

Kid has zero interest in UCF. What's up with that?
In order for a former players son to be
interested in UCF, the dad first of all has to show love and support for the school
way before their son reaches his teen years. He must make it priority to watch
games and attend some games with his
son. Bring his son back at times and introduce him to current coaching staffs.

Just like when you were a kid. If your dad loved cars and worked on them
every weekend with you than more
than likely you still love working on
and fixing cars till this day. If your dad
took you fishing with him all the time
more than likely you still love fishing
today. UCF wanting former players kids
works the same way.

Now we have to take one thing into account here. Prior to 2007 when we
opened up the FB and BB venues and village UCF wasn't as attractive. How
can former player say son come check out UCF at the Citrus Bowl and come see these facilities in old Wayne Dench in 2004. So it may have been a hard sell. And we don't know what the relationship was like with those guys and UCF years ago. As I understand it they had issues with the program. Thank goodness more recently it's seems relationships with Samuel and Jefferson have improved.

Now it's up to frost to help foster a more inclusive letterman club so we can take advantage of all the NFL talent that played in the NFL. And I give Coach Oleary credit for helping many guys make it to the NFL.
