Gus will *promote* a custodian in the athletic office to coach linebackers.

Our DB’s absolutely sucked this year! Couldn’t find the ball, couldn’t cover, couldn’t tackle, couldn’t cause turnovers, couldn’t blitz and get to the qb, couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down. Most importantly, they NEVER improved which tells me it was a coaching problem. At some point, our kiss ass “media reporters” need to ask the tough questions to Gus…
1) did you look outside the program or are you just looking to promote friends from within?
2) How long ago did you find out the OC and DC we’re leaving?
3) what other candidates did you interview?
4) what Is it that you saw in our new DC that led you to believe he was the best choice?
5) what improvements do you believe need to be made to the defense that he would bring to the table?
