Yes she gets to use it because she’s earned it. The issue is where it gets conflated with a medical doctor in a time of pandemic crisis and then someone with a huge podium, like Whoopi on the View, says that she’s a hell of a doctor and should be the Surgeon General of the US. It lends undue gravitas to things that she’s speaking about where she is not an expert.

So maybe the media should use Dr. Jill Biden when she’s talking about Education policy and not when she’s defending her family’s corruption or commenting on other issues.
