It might be awhile before the next HC even starts working at UCF, let alone filling out his staff completely (i.e. some may not be able to join till after the bowl season), so some assistant coaches might need to be around during the transition and/or 1 or 2 might even end up on next year's staff.
Believe back in Dec 2003/Jan 2004, while O'Leary was finishing up the season with the Vikings, one of the then UCF Assistants he kept around was Coach Beckton, to keep the place functioning, keep up with recruiting targets, etc...
Beckton was later let go/left...and then came back to the program in 2008.
There will be huge turnover in the below, regardless who ends up being the new HC...but the 2 current coaches that could end up on the next staff:
Beckton: Even though the WR's have performed poorly this year, he has a track record that when he has quality depth, they perform.
Barrett: Ironically, his 4 game interim HC position might end up being a strike on him from a potential new HC who wants to make a clean break. He did a good job with RB's prior to 2014 and while he has been assigned to QB's in 2015, that's been one of the weaknesses so far on this team.
Lots of UCF connections (even pre-GOL) on the below list.
