US death toll 'expected to reach well over 600,000'

Is he trying to say that the POTUS can’t stop a pandemic?

There’s a freaking vaccine now.

He is saying he has no clue what the hell is happening. Bottom line is #s will come down a bit over the next couple of months then drop quite a bit as spring gets here. By then both the weather and the Trump Vaccine will be taking hold.

And so, the narrative is set. They went into this thinking it was an impossible task, but their policies worked so well that we got it under control. And the media will swoon at his glorious victory.

No president can stop this pandemic without an effective vaccine that everyone will take AND/OR

A long term martial law type lockdown like I’ve been saying since last April. Lucky for us, this virus wasn’t THAT deadly. We may not be so lucky the next time.

LMAO. Let me get this straight: NOW that Biden is in charge the Federal government is supposed to abruptly stop a raging pandemic after months of our Usual Suspects here telling us all not to worry 'cause "it's just the sniffles"?

I am confident that now that we finally have some people involved at the Federal level who actually know what the f*k they're doing, we'll see a major ramping up of our production and distribution processes. It's a shame that despite incredible efforts to produce effective vaccines in record time, the government was caught flat-footed last year when it came to getting the vaccines from the lab into peoples' arms.

Flat footed? They are already averaging almost a million vaccinations per day, which is Bidens goal. Maybe he should be more ambitious than the pathetic response that got us up to his plans intent.

Flat footed?
LOL---You actually question this???!? You've GOT to be kidding me?

The Trump Administration, you know, Operation WARP-SPEED, promised the American Public they'd have 20 million people vaccinated by the end of the year. We're now over halfway through January and we haven't even sniffed the 20 million mark -- only vaccinated 16.5 million people have been vaccinated so far.

When State became frustrated with the Trump Administration's slow response, the Trump official in charge said they would no longer continue the practice of holding second vaccine shots in reserve and would instead send everything out---only to admit four days later that they actually didn't have a reserve to send.

So having ambitious goals is a bad thing now and reason to criticize.

I'll keep that in mind when cancer hasn't been cured by 2024.

There's a difference between having 'ambitious goals' and outright lying to the American Public. Even in mid-December, Trump officials were assuring folks that despite a slow start, 20 million shots by the end of the year was 'still very much doable.'

When the Biden team successfully vaccinates 100,000 Americans in 100 days, I'll be expecting you to opine that it 'wasn't aggressive enough.' :)

We are already vaccinating a million people a day under Trumps plan. Will you credit him for setting a plan in motion that gets us to 100 million in 100 days?

Biden isn’t doing crap and won’t do crap. Your savior isn’t doing a damn thing

Looks like you're pretty obsessed with Biden. ;)
This is going to have be your only defense for 4 years as your dementia Jesus Joe runs this country into the ground.

Hindenburg Biden

That’s not true. He single-handedly wiped out 11,000 jobs, billions in labor dollars, left an ally high and dry, and then sounded the death knell for our energy independence in two swipes of the pen.

Once he gets his revenge on Trump and reverses anything good at America’s expense, then let’s see what he’s good for

And is provoking war with Russia.

First, having Psaki invoke the name Navalny in her first press conference, then the next day moving troops and equipment into Syria counter to Russian positions.
Wow.

Russia cyber-attacks the United States' computer systems last year and what is the US response? Ho-hum, it could be China.

New Administration's Press Secretary mentions the name of a Russian dissident and what is your response? How reckless!!! THAT's provoking a war!

Oh it’s far more than that. Biden has been going toe-to-toe with Russians since his early Senatorial years negotiating arms deals with the Cold War USSR. He even once insulted then-leader Prokofiev by bringing a teenage Hunter Biden into a negotiating session. More recently, he courted the Putin opposition when he was VP, making a side trip (10 years ago) during a state visit to have a meeting with all of them, thus sending a message to Putin at that time. Now that he’s President, it seems that he’s going to pursue an aggressive anti-Putin position. I guess that we’ll see if this is a good thing or not.

The left told us consistently it would be impossible to even have a vaccine this quickly. Their only answer has been lockdowns, and masks. Places with lock downs still in place are getting the virus at the same rate as those running wide open, with precautions in place. .[ distancing ect. ] If Hillary had been president her instincts would have been more Government, not reduce regs and provide extra cash for big Pharma to use. No vaccine would even be available yet. For those who think Biden has any plan to stop or slow this..."COME ON MAN!!!"

Putin greenlighted a major covert Russian cyber-attack on our nation's information systems and you actually wonder out loud whether being anti-Putin is a good thing??!?

You do realize that they can end civilization in the United States as we know it, right?

Let’s piss them off for no good reason.

Super powers should get along

What should we do about it? Bomb Moscow?
There is a Grand Canyon-wide range of options for the Biden Administration to consider that's between your "Bomb Moscow" and the previous administration ignoring it all together.

Suuuuuure there is!! [roll] [roll] [roll]

You schmucks thought Biden was going to fix the pandemic? The pandemic was a good chance to seize power from Trump that’s all. I voted Biden because he will be sleeping rather than tweeting and stirring up mobs while still doing nothing for average Americans.

Navalny isn't just a political dissident, he's the chief rival of Putin.
So what?

FYI, this 'chief rival' of Putin was mysteriously poisoned and almost died. Funny how that tends to happen to Russians who dare to stand up to this Russian dictator.

You act as though my issue with this is because I'm pro-Putin. I actually would probably side with Navalny on their whole deal, but its THEIR deal. We shouldn't be getting involved in their politics and certainly not in the very first press conference. We also shouldn't be moving our military assets into Syria that are counter to Russias positions. Syria is none of our business.
