Hard to believe, when she stated that consolidating all banks and shutting down energy companies was her goal.

Soviet style central planning and outlawing of all private ownership -- except for her and her cronies, of course. No wonder even European socialists are scared of the US left now.

Just think about how close we came to literally having a communist in charge of our banking sector. That's pretty chilling.

She isnt a communist, this is just a new form of McCarthyism. She literally worked in the treasury dept under Bush.

Wanting to nationalize the banks isn't communist? I'd hate to know what it would take for you to actually label someone a communist if that doesn't do it.

Sorry, but it's a very Soviet argument.
Not just my words either, and hardly just conservatives too.

She doesnt want to nationalize the banks, she just wants the fed to offer more options.

Honest question: do you think that, if a politician was initiating a takeover of the banks, that they’d come right out and say they were taking over the banks?

Or do you think they’d offer a few more options that look good on the surface or respond to a crisis first. Then they’d quietly start undermining the free market options until it was a no-brainer to drop them. Suddenly you’re left only with the government-controlled options. Then, when those don’t work, they’ll move the ball again and again until we look up one day and wonder what happened.

Her position of bankrupting oil companies is untenable. The 20th century progress from energy to plastics, to medical equipment, food production, computers and so forth doesn't happen without oil. oil touches every aspect of our lives and the benefits out weigh the environmental externalities. She wants to destroy oil industry and by doing so you basically destroy all the progress we have made over the last 120 years. This position alone disqualifies her. She can go live in a log cabin in the woods with a dirt floor lit by candles ,but the rest of us don't want any part of that .
