I agree with part B, I believe many people voted more-so to be against Trump, instead of "for" Biden, but I've not heard many that voted for Joe acknowledge his shortcomings, lack of leadership... I personally expected more "unity" like he ran on, taking more centrist positions but I think the extreme left characters pressured him further left on the spectrum. I dislike extremes on both sides, and wish Joe stood up to extremes on both sides...
