Big 12 Media Days kicks off today at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. I had some things going on this week and couldn't get up there, maybe next year.

Commissioner Brett Yormark will start things off with his media address at 1 p.m. EST.

Seven teams will appear each day. Today will be TCU, Houston, Kansas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas and BYU. UCF goes on Thursday.

ESPNU will have a live show each day with exclusive interviews with coaches and players. Yormark and the coach press conferences will stream live on ESPN+. Link below.

For general media, like if I was there personally, you'd basically attend the press conferences for the afternoon. Coaches will speak for about 15 minutes each to the entire group. Then there would be one hour for general access to all players - approximately 35 players among the seven teams per day.

In all honesty for media, it's probably more of a networking opportunity and an "event" that's cool to attend rather than an avenue to obtain a large quantity of unique content (considering the coach press conferences are live streamed and you'd have to pick and choose who you talk to in your hour-long access to players).

For teams, Media Day is more about having coaches/players available to the conference's media partners. There are more than 12 different stops each team will make throughout the course of their day.

Here is UCF's schedule for Thursday. I adjusted for EST.

UCF
9:30-10:00: ESPN
10:05-10:15: Kid Reporters (c)
10:15-10:25: Kid Reporters (p)
10:25-10:40: Coach ESPNU Set
10:40-10:50: Players ESPNU Set
10:45-11:00: Coach Press Conference
11:00-11:30: CBS/LHN
11:30-12:00: FOX
12:00-12:30: FOX Social/BYU TV
12:30-1:00: Live Radio
1:00-1:30: SiriusXM
1:30-2:00: Lunch
2:00-3:00: Team Breakouts
3:00-3:45: Big 12 Social & Digital
3:45-4:30: Photos (p)
4:00-4:30: ESPN.com (c)

(p) means players and (c) for coach.

Interestingly, BYUtv gets their own special access to all teams. But so does CBS, which isn't an official partner like ESPN/Fox.

Here is the coach press conference schedule for Wednesday, which will run in conjunction with the ESPNU Live show.

2:15 ā€“ 2:30: TCU Coach Sonny Dykes
2:45 ā€“ 3:00: Houston Coach Dana Holgorsen
3:10 ā€“ 3:25: Kansas Coach Lance Leipold
3:35 ā€“ 3:50: Baylor Coach Dave Aranda
4:00 ā€“ 4:15: Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy
4:25-4:40: Texas Coach Steve Sarkisian
4:50-5:05: BYU Coach Kalani Sitake
