Article in Sports Economist looks at the breakdown of TV Ratings for P5 Conferences (and BYU) from 2014.
They use a system that uses rated games only (national TV networks) while others include all viewers.
As no surprise, SEC and Big Ten dominate...while somewhat surprising, for rated games, ACC had just 1 team in the Top 25 (FSU's undefeated teams where fans were tuning in to see if the streak continued or if it ended).
Big 12 had just 1 team in the Top 15 (at #15) in rated game TV ratings in 2014.
ACC and even the Big 12 need more viewers...for future conf TV contract negotiations and for their own, yet unplanned, conf TV networks.
