This add value to the Big 12's future tv contract as conf games are usually more valuable to tv networks vs a 4th non-conf game (which are normally not attractive at all)

Obviously, it will means that UCF will have 5 home (4 road) conf games one year then 4 home (5 road) conf games the following year.
Pac-12 and Big Ten also play 9 conf games as only the SEC and ACC stick with 8 as most of those teams build up fluff on their non-conf slates. (Heck, last year, Tennessee played all 4 of their non-conf games at HOME!!)
