too early for my prediction. still think we need either Buie , Hamilton, or both to commit at RB to finally have speed at that position along w Killins as a scat back to help the offense.

But an essential part of a rebuilding year is that the players gain experience. The offense will be completely different. Any experience with the current playbook is useless. As far as the defense is concerned, I think the only experience they picked up this year is how to be out of position and try to tackle without using your arms.

Just because everyone is coming back doesn't necessarily translate into wins (because they have experience). If they aren't up to D-1 football standards we are still going to suffer next season.

8 wins is silly talk. The existing talent didn't beat Furman or FIU. I think getting to .500 would be a huge accomplishment.

You can't coach speed. If CSF can recruit some more burners, I can see 6 wins easily. He's going to put them in space against teams like Tulane and UConn.

Next year will be tricky. I still think GOL recruited well. That he did not coach this year and 1/2 of last year is evident by the lack of direction and focus of the players. I think the talent is there, but because it will be a whole new system I don't think they can install it quickly enough for the players to run it well. If we win 6 it will be a good season.
