Can we finally top 6,000 tonight? Last two games were over 5,400 and over 5,700.
SMU and Cincy are the AAC's best. They are getting a few dozen votes in the polls.
Horrible for top-ranked teams yesterday: #1 'Nova, #2 Kansas, #4 Kentucky, so anything's possible.
SMU lost top stars from last year and been short-handed like us, so weren't expected to so good.
By Larry Brown's heir as coach has run a defense just as tough!
They've won 13 of the last 14 games, losing only at Cincy by 2 points!
They've easily dispatch all their other AAC opponents except for a close win at Memphis.
Their 3 other loses were to Michigan (their only home loss), Southern Cal, and Boise State.
SMU plays mostly with only 6 guys, 4 averaging over 30 minutes! A 7th guy plays 8 minutes a game.
Semi Ojeleye is 6-7, leads in scoring, 6-8 Ben Moore gives senior leadership, Sterling Brown is 6-6. The three share the rebounding. Shake Milton is assist leader who with Jarrey Foster are 6-6 guards.
So they usually play without a true point guard like we did when BJ was out.
