If the Republicans would just go Libertarian ... they would find themselves in a great position against the Progressive-heavy Democratic party. Most of the Liberals cannot operate in that party any more, if they haven't been ousted over the 'unity' argument.
Most thought 2016 would be that year ... until Trump showed up. Even the Koch brothers threw up their hands, and cut off all promotion of their Libertarian views, until it was over.
