All this latest realignment talk has got me thinking about top level teams in the 4 major conferences and was comparing ours to the others when I realized something cool I haven’t heard anyone else say:
9 of our 16 teams have been ranked inside the Top Ten in the last 4 years (since 2020).
Arizona could have made it an even 10 but just missed, being ranked 11 to end last year.
This does NOT include Oklahoma or Texas.
I wonder if other conferences can say this.
