Nope. They want concessions and reparations. They call it Equity now, of course, and it has replaced Equality as the notion of choice. It is different because they realized that even when all the laws are equal, the outcomes were not. So they had to define a term for the equality of outcome that they are trying to sell to people as something that is possible and that the US Government can and should provide.
"So there’s a big difference between equality and equity. Equality suggests, “oh everyone should get the same amount.” The problem with that, not everybody’s starting out from the same place. So if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here, we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me. It’s about giving people the resources and the support they need, so that everyone can be on equal footing, and then compete on equal footing. Of course, it is impossible to equalize outcome in our society. So all the warnings sound when someone starts talking about using Government to try to force it.
