bomb threat at my office yesterday

So that was interesting. It was a standard fire drill, exited the building. Once outside, we realized that something serious was up. Saw a bunch of cop cars and fire trucks. Not long after, I could see the news 6 helicopter flying around. Got word that it would be several hours before the building would be deemed clear, so I just went home (it started at 4:15).

I highly recommend if you get a fire drill at your office or a building you are in to grab all your important stuff. I left my laptop and backpack, and couldnt get them until after 7pm. I decided not to go back until this morning.

When I worked at a certain call center, they taught us that you always have your keys/wallet/valuables on you, ...if you went to the bathroom, breakroom, or more than a few feet away from your desk. Supposedly, they had threats made against them often. I didn't work there long enough to find out.
