Now, back to the how part of the equation. There are a few things that have stood out to me over the past few weeks. First, we’ve spoken about the Knights defensively for some time, but one of the most glaring issues is their rotations, particularly on the weak side of the floor. Think about it, how often are you seeing a UCF defender flying out at a shooter, only to have that player pass the ball to a shooter who is even more open? If you watched the BYU game, you saw it a lot!

I guess I’m not one of the cool kids at the cool kid lingo table. WTF is a shooter, and how many does an offense have on the field during a possession? Can’t we refer to them as, oh I don’t know, maybe what they are: WR; RB; QB, etc…?

PS. Nevermind, I erroneously thought we were talking football not basketball. Mea culpa.
