I am curious about the process in finding and evaluating talent in the portal. How does a coach find a young man or how does a young man find a school?
I would like to better understand the process. With high school kids coaches often get sent video and if it picques the interest of a coach or program they send recruiters to go watch games , meet the kids and such. We hear about it when UCF has strong interests
We read today a young mam commits to UCF for a DB position from Syracuse. It's just kind of out of the blue. It got me wondering how long UCF coaches spent following the guy? How did they learn about his availability? How much film do they they watch?
It would be cool if Brandon or Sons could interview some UCF coaches to give fans insight on how the portal process works given time and now financial constraints.
