Bravo Mr. President Elect! Well done, sir!!!

This Republican could not vote for the man. He has basically cowed and fooled many Republicans, and has made himself bigger than the RNC. While so many, many examples speak to his true character, the one unforgivable example I recall occurred in 2015. In speaking to the Family Leadership Summit, he said of John McCain, " he was a war hero because he was captured - I like people who weren't captured!" As a veteran, this was a slap in the face to anyone who ever took the oath to protect this country! John McCain's A-4 Skyhawk was blown out of the sky over Hanoi in 1967, and what he endured over the next 5 + years is harrowing...starvation rations, iron manacles , solitary confinement and regular beatings...only to be discounted by this sniveling coward who never served the military a day in his life! Bone spurs in his feet saved his ass from the rigors of Basic Training, but never interfered with his golf and tennis games!

Trump is an absolute embarrassment to himself and the tarnished legacy he will leave.

Are you me?

Same exact story here, lifelong Republican. I remember exactly where I was, in a Walmart parking lot listening to the news announce what trump said about McCain. I was home less than 3 weeks after returning from a month of SERE school.

There I got slapped around, hungry and cold for a week, lots "outdoor recreation" and even more mind games. All in all the most miserable experience of my incredibly sheltered life. What I went thru was less than one one trillionth of a percent of the absolute living hell McCain and many others endured as POWs.

How the fuk people can support this cretin in the WH is beyond me. You have to be literally brainwashed.

One would think that even the most diehard of Trump's MAGA-hatted supporters would be embarrassed with his juvenile "boo hoo" temper tantrum since last week's election.

I saw a report today that the President has done NOTHING but lay around and sulk since the election. Today was the first day he has even been seen in public when he went to a Veteran's Day ceremony.

Is Trump's behavior an example of the 'strong, bold leadership' this country needed for another four years? Inquiring minds want to know.

Having gone through that SERE course, you've gained much insight into the many creative methods that can be employed to break the human spirit. Most folks probably cannot fathom what that looks like. You have a much better idea of what 5 years as a POW would be like. I'm not sure I could find the resolve to live through 1,800 days in the enemy's camp. 1,800 occasions to get beaten to a pulp, 1,800 days to subsist on next to nothing, 1,800 mornings to wake up behind bars. John McCain somehow survived such a hellish ordeal, and he was the very epitome of a hero, having endured thresholds most Americans cannot even imagine.

For Trump to so flippantly dismiss his service and sacrifice, it reflected that he has no decency, empathy, and what few of his supporters DON'T get, a total lack of patriotism. How he somehow draped himself in the American flag is pure opportunistic BS! This man knows the con game and can lie without flinching. Say it loud enough, bombastically enough, and many will knuckle under to his dogma.

Most of us can recall this kind of kid from the playgrounds of our youth. He would miss a layup and cry, "FOUL!" He would strikeout, only to say he wasn't set in the batter's box, he would claim the base runner didn't tag 1st base, he'd always blame his teammates for his failures. The opposing running back would slip right past him only because he had been "held," he'd scream that the tennis ball was, "OUT!" And yet, he'd claim to have won trophies on his own back and diminish the efforts of his teammates. He would cheap shot those guys who were smaller or weaker. We all remember these guys! I recall one from my high school....big self-promoter, subpar player, who claimed shortly before graduation that the Tennessee Vols, " want me bad at linebacker!" Whatever, Tom, okay.

Many of us have seen this tired routine before.

The irony is that you have called so many on this board the vilest of things many, many times yet you are so vehemently offended by Trump calling McCain vile things.

Yikes! You're comparing an anonymous message board poster talking crap to other anonymous message board posters with our Vietnam war draft dodging President talking crap about a certified Vietnam war hero? Really?

You’re arguing with someone who’s such a snowflake that he’s ignored by 90% of this board and ignores about the same amount. The guy is a complete sociopath

@NinjaKnight isms

1) Inbreds
2) Dumber than dogshit
3) MAGA-hats
4) Incels

etc., etc., etc. Incapable of gainful employment and human interaction

Oh, I’m not arguing with him. I just find it extremely funny that Mr. “I used to be a Republican until Trump started acting like an ass” is just as bad, if not worse, than Trump on this board.

He was definitely gainfully employed (maybe still is, I don’t know) in a USAF job that you would never guess given the way he acts in his posts here.

He's far worse than Trump.

I don't see who are you replying to, but I have no doubt it's one of the brain dead traitors that is stupid enough to still be defending trump, in Nov of 2020.

There is no point in arguing with these brainwashed morons. You can't change their mind any more than you can change a the mind of a toaster.

Imagine being so stupid you think a poster on a random political sports board should be held to a higher standard than the POTUS. Calling these people inbred is an insult to the entire state of mississippi.

Nah, Putin is far more inline with the New Democrat party. Which you all will realize once Trump has faded into the distance.
The hilarious thing to ponder about this post is why in the world would Trump buddy up with Putin and trust him over our intel services if he is "far more inline" with the "New" Democrat party?

Weird, huh? :)

Still trying to use facts and logic to change the mind of a maga chud, who by definition does not forumlate his worldview using facts and logic?

How's that working for you?

I ran an errand and turned on Rush to see what he was saying about the election at this point. He wasn't on today but his substitute was STILL talking about how the election was stolen from Trump. He mentioned "all the evidence" but, interestingly enough, never talked about any of it in detail. It was 'the pattern' of rampant voter fraud that he was seeing.

However, he did mention the postal worker who claimed voter fraud only to recant his story under FBI questioning. According to today's Rush Wannabe, the MSM said he recanted his story BUT -- get this -- he never really did. This was another example of the FBI strong-arming innocent people like Michael Flynn. I. Kid. You. Not.

So when you wonder where the hell posters here get their crazy notions, look no further than these talk radioheads.

I can't help but think of this in respect to Ninja's posting here:

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” ~ Carl Jung
