i never understood why the left loves to protect that religion. it goes against alot of what this country stands for.
Huh?!?!? Silly me, I could have sworn this country stands for the protection of religion.
What if your religion involves stoning gays? sometimes even tossing them off roofs.
Except the left will protect that religion despite these views. After the pulse shooting the left focused on guns even though it was a gay-hating muslim who wanted to kill gaysIf you look at a map of the countries with laws against same sex sexual relationships, they are all African, Middle East, and Southeast Asian countries. To help you geographically 'unenlightened' Red Hats, your President would describe them as sh*thole countries except for Saudi Arabia where his crowned Prince buddy holds court.
At the time of his famous quote, we had posters here who reveled at calling out those "sh*thole countries" for being mismanaged, horrible cesspools. But it's funny how often the views of our country's social conservatives mirror those of the residents of these 'sh*tholes.'
Weird, huh?
Most free-thinking people understand that a Fundamentalist who hates gays is not an indictment of an entire religion, be it Islam or Christianity.it was a gay-hating muslim who wanted to kill gays
Most free-thinking people understand that a Fundamentalist who hates gays is not an indictment of an entire religion, be it Islam or Christianity.
But why do you think Fundamentalists from these backwards sh*thole countries do so much gay bashing? I'll give you a clue: it has something to do with ignorance.
The sh*thole countries were the south American countries where poverty is just the norm. Yes if we just fully open our borders..
Maybe you guys should rethink your strategy since the majority of the immigrants from these backwards, third-world countries tend to look at the world like you do....then we would become a sh*thole too. It's just reality.
I have gay friends who travel to Dubai and what not. I don't get it. I have ZERO desire.
No doubt gays traveling to Dubai feel SO MUCH BETTER now.If you don’t cause a ruckus you have nothing to worry about. It’s not at all a strict society

They just need to avoid "causing a ruckus."![]()
You're not the only poster who's ever been to Dubai, numbnuts. You don’t know what you’re talking about so just shut up and stop trying to comment on yet another subject you don’t know shit about, Shookster

For the record, my response wasn't intended to play a bullsh*t game of world traveler one-upsmanship. It was only meant to inform you that you shouldn't automatically assume you're the board's authority on Dubai simply because you'll have 'flown there for the third time this year.'
I have to confess that based on your posts here, you don't strike me as someone who's picked up a lot of 'cultural sensitivity' from your travels.
I am in Dubai often. There are OBVIOUSLY gay people visiting there especially from Europe.
If you don’t cause a ruckus you have nothing to worry about. It’s not at all a strict society
I’m pretty obviously gay - would I have problems there?
