I'm so glad this was canceled. We have troops on front lines overseas - some of whom will never make it home - so we should not be showing off and celebrating.

This is another one of those instances where Trump knew the costs would come in a lot higher - so, he puts everyone through this fire drill and then defers the blame when things come back exactly how he expected (albeit, privately). Whatever cost he had in his mind should immediately be used to house, rehabilitate and honor our veterans.

By that logic, fourth of July fireworks should be forever cancelled since it's so wrong for Americans to celebrate our successes.
